Encouragement Comes to Hospitality Ministry!

Bill and Denise beautifully arranged the Parent Room for VBS (Vacation Bible School) and I spoke on the opening night to the parents about the importance of eating at home at the table regularly. Thank you, Bill and Denise, for setting the stage and your encouragement! Here’s what they wrote to me afterwards in a colorful note:
“Bill and I want to thank you for speaking at our VBS Parent Place! The parents were very blessed with all the great info on the Table Principle. We could see how well they responded and the high interest and discussion that followed was amazing! Thank you! Bill and Denise

Lisa Couch’s Testimony

photoCella, a friend and I met weekly over one summer to work on sewing projects and apply principles from a book about personal boundaries.  I agreed. The book was an afterthought; the meat of the meeting would be the sewing!  Each week we would sew and discuss our victories and unsuccessful attempts to apply the personal learning from the book.  What I really began to crave was Cella’s mentorship and straightforward communication.  It can be challenging getting to know someone if you’re worried about offending them, or if they like you or not.  I never had an issue knowing where we stood as Cella is a straightforward, loving communicator.  She also has a remarkable relationship with Christ.  I love hearing Cella’s stories.  She is so in tune with the promptings of the Holy Spirit.  She usually has a new, miraculous story, i.e.helping a salesman at OSH come to Christ in a quick trip she took to the store.  I value the time I am able to talk with Cella and find her to be an incredible and insightful mentor and friend.
